 Why is this still a big deal? When you gotta go, you should be able to go.  Some of us are forgetting some of our history, so we are repeating it. As a nation we separated kids from their families several times. Sometimes permanently. It seems to me like this is who are and who we have been. The solution would be to change our ways and not be who we have been. We should acknowledge our mistakes in order to learn from them. Separating families and locking up children has never worked. It was traumatic and inhumane then and its traumatic and inhumane now. Its who we've been and who we are. It's time to change.  Dedicated to all my wonderful teachers that helped me get to where I am today and to all the educators out there helping our kids get to where they want to be. Go #red for ed !  Here we go. I haven't drawn these characters in maybe 7-8 years and even longer since college when I used to draw this comic on a daily basis. Lets see where this goes. Feel free to share it.
